Synopsis

Dying to Know is an intimate portrait celebrating two very complicated controversial characters in an epic friendship that formed a technology. Within the early 1960s Harvard psychology professors Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert started probing the perimeters of consciousness by means of their experiments with psychedelics. Leary grew to become the LSD guru, asking us to suppose for ourselves, igniting a world counter-cultural motion and touchdown in jail after Nixon known as him ‘probably the most harmful man in America’. Alpert journeyed to the East turning into Ram Dass, a religious instructor for a complete technology who continues in his 80s educating service by means of compassion. With interviews spanning 50 years the movie invitations us into the long run encouraging us to ponder questions on life, medicine & the most important thriller of all: dying.
