Synopsis
Pearl S. Bucks China Sky: In a hill metropolis of war-torn China, the American mission hospital is run by Dr. Grey Thompson and Dr. Sara Durand, who secretly loves him. Then Grey comes again from the USA with new tools …and new spouse Louise, who’s jealous of Sara, exhibits herself a coward within the first Japanese air raid, and needs to take Grey again to the States. Others have related troubles; and Japanese prisoner Colonel Yasuda manipulates them for his personal ends. (1945)
