In 2010, america introduced the primary new nuclear energy plant building in over 32 years. The ‘Nuclear Renaissance’ was born, and America’s long-stalled enlargement of nuclear power was infused with new life. On March 11, 2011, a magnitude earthquake hit Japan and triggered chaos on the Fukushima Energy Plant. That accident despatched ripples all the way in which to the US and instantly the fierce debate over the protection and viability of nuclear energy was again within the public consciousness. Our documentary takes the viewer on a journey to reactor communities across the nation. This movie exposes the truths and myths of nuclear energy, and poses the query of whether or not or not man can responsibly break up the atom. (2012)
